Game Informer spoils Valve announcement, Portal 2 on its way

Okay, so game informer magazine didn’t exactly spoil the big surprise. I think most people were expecting some sort of sequel announcement from the recent Valve shenanigans. But they did spoil the official announcement, expected by many fans and conspiracy theorists, to be given next week by Valve founder Gabe Newell. The new magazine cover revealing the Portal 2 reveal looks pretty razzle dazzle to me. If you are a fan of the first Portal, then the notion of a stand alone sequel should have you pretty pumped up.

So it appears I was wrong, I honestly didn’t think Valve would have two major announcements in a year, but then again why shouldn’t they? They always go big, I just hope the official Steam to Mac announcement is on its way. Portal 2 to Mac would be a pretty solid announcement, as well. Obviously, the pictures don’t come with details, release dates, platforms, etc. We will do everything we can to keep you updated on all the Valve raucous, so check back often.
