Fist of the North Star screens will make your head explode

New screens were released today by Koei Tecmo showing off the popular Manga Fist of the North Star’s fierce action and cartoonish beauty. The game is definitely a tweaked version of your classic beat-em-up where one faces many, ala Dynasty Warriors. Koei Tecmo just confirmed Fist will be released in Europe, so we’re all anxiously awaiting word about a North American release.

Fist of the North Star will include features like destructible environments, taking on dozens of enemies at a time, tons of unlockable moves and hidden characters and original scenarios for each playable character. If you’re a fan of the Manga, then there is no reason to not start getting excited about the title. The only question is if this game can break the mold of the genre and step past a handful of ho-hum Dynasty Warrior releases and revolutionize the 3D side-scroller/beat-em-ups. Only time will tell, but we like what we see in the screens below!
