Sony PlayStation Phone? I’ll take two
Kotaku and The Wall Street Journal are reporting that Sony is going to be flexing its portable electronics muscles. First up, a new smart phone capable of downloading and playing full scale PlayStation games. If this little number actually comes to fruition, I believe I will finally have a legitimate excuse to break the stranglehold of a contract that Sprint has been dangling over my head for all these years. I almost did the same for the iPhone, but settled for the iTouch, a decision I do not regret to this day.
The next piece of hardware to strut its stuff is equally intriguing. There is no official name for it yet, but is said to rival the iPad and will ā[blur] distinctions among a netbook, an e-reader, and a PlayStation Portable.ā I just hope as far the e-reader aspect goes they choose to keep the electronic ink. I personally would rather my eyes not bleed while enjoying a nice Murakami joint. Iām looking at you, ridiculously bright LED backlit iPad.
A word to the wise Sony, be on your guard or Apple might sue you for making a PHONE!
