Just Cause 2 demo will base jump onto your house next week

A demo for upcoming and awesome looking action title Just Cause 2 will base jump, parachute, and grapple hook it’s way onto your XBox 360, PlayStation 3, or Steam client next Thursday, March 4th. Under development by Avalanche Studios and Eidos Interactive, the full title will hit store shelves on March 26.

The sandbox-style action title will take place on the island of Panau, a 200 square mile mercenary’s playground of sorts. The demo will consist of a a good chunk of the map: a 35 square mile area in which players can do, well, whatever they want. What’s that – you really want to be able to grapple to a Jeep and use your parachute as a sail why you rain lead down from on high? Well, Just Cause 2 can make that happen.

That’s not to say there’s no direction in the demo, missions and quests are included to give some method to your madness. What will you be doing first when you download the demo next week? Checking out how Just Cause 2′s missions are structured, laying waste to an entire town, or perhaps infiltrating some military bases?

As for me, I just can’t wait to jump off really tall shit.
