Steam to support Supreme Commander 2, Demo available now

Supreme Commander Header

Square Enix and Valve will be teaming up to bring PC users the Supreme Commander 2 Steamworks’ experience. Supreme Commander 2 will be one of many upcoming game releases to take advantage of the newly tooled Steam. Expect to see the full version on PC March 2nd and on Xbox March 16th.

While the full release is still a few days away, those eager to get their hands on the real-time strategy game can now access a playable demo via Steam’s digital distribution service. The demo includes two tutorial levels and two levels from the campaign, and the he plot of SC2 picks up twenty-five years after the events of the original release.

If history is any indication, these types of games are far more popular on PC. Which platform will you be waging battles of epic proportions on?
