Blur getting in-game Twitter functionality

Adding to the constant social evolution of our species, creators of the acclaimed Project Gotham Racing, Bizarre Creations have added Twitter functionality to their upcoming vehicular combat game, Blur.

Using the Twitter interface, players will be able to share details such as race victories, how many fans they’ve just earned, cars they’ve unlocked, or leaderboard rankings. They’ll also be able to send challenges out to friends. Simply put, if you want to Tweet about something in game, you’ll be able to. Don’t believe me?

It truly is amazing how far we’ve come in gaming. Before we used to play games by ourselves or with friends on a couch. Now, for better or worse, we can’t get away from people.
