God of War 3 stays golden, Pony Boy

Sony Santa Monica’s Director of Technology, Christer Ericson tweeted his enthusiasm about God of War 3 going gold yesterday. The game is officially complete and ready for manufacture. We are so antsy here at MMOMFG, that we are sharpening our blades and getting our war paint ready. Kratos has officially stripped Oscar De La Hoya of his Golden Boy nickname and will be delivering more head blows too come GoW’s March 16 release date.

Christer could barely hold his enthusiasm in on Twitter stating, “God of War 3 has gone gold and is being manufactured! Wheee! #GoW3.”

Wheee indeed, our friends! The original Olympian, Kratos, would be sick with all the modern Olympic games going on other this past week. Seriously, we’ve seen enough downhill skiing and ice skating this week and are ready for some real competition amongst the Gods. Kratos would no doubt lead the Games in Greco-Roman Wrestling, Off-Cliff Diving and Decapitations (not sure if this is an event in Vancouver 2010). Either way, with God of War 3 and Bad Company 2 going gold yesterday, life is definitely good.
