Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands, unique to the Wii

It looks like Wii owners are getting their own personalized Prince of Persia experience. Announced today from Ubisoft, PoP: The Forgotten Sands will utilize the “graphical power” (not sure what that means) of the Wii system and has been built from the ground up. My guess is they throw in some waggle-time as well.

Looking at the two screenshots below, I’m getting a “Warrior Within” feeling.

No word on how exactly this version will differ from the 360 and PS3, but we’ve put in an email to Ubisoft for clarification. I’m still a little confused by this decision to abandon the reboot series from 2008. I’m guessing sales numbers weren’t as good as anticipated and they just scratched it off their list. Only time will tell.
