Wayne Header

EA released another handful of World Cup 2010 screenshots today. If you are a fan of the sport, or you simply get drawn in by the World Cup hype, this game should definitely interest you. We noted recently that with the game being announced, it wouldn’t be your typical FIFA soccer where you enjoy it for two months and then it sits on your shelf. EA has actually dedicated a lot of time and effort into this edition, offering updates to game mechanics, new animations like chest passes and cleaned up a lot of the gameplay issues players faced in FIFA 10.

The new headshots, seen below, highlight Spain versus Italy, USA versus Mexico, Germany versus Portugal, England verus Holland and a picture of Shrek Wayne Rooney’s ugly mug. The USA kits seen below will not be the ones used in the game, as the Yanks have their new home and away kits on the way.
