Microsoft announces release dates for Alan Wake, Dead Rising 2, and Halo Reach Beta

Lots of news, good news today during Microsoft’s X10 event. The announcement of three top titles stole the spotlight as psychological thriller Alan Wake, zombie hording Dead Rising 2, and their bread and butter Halo Reach all received some nice attention.

First up the Halo Reach beta will start May 3rd and will be accessible through the Halo ODST disc.

Next Alan Wake, one we’ve been keeping our eye on for quite some time, hits shelves May 18th.

And lastly Dead Rising 2, will be released August 31st in the US.  Also announced, a downloaded prologue of sorts named “Dead Rising 2: Case Zero” though a price and exact date have not been listed as of yet.

Even though the Halo Reach is only a multiplayer beta, you can bet copies of ODST will be selling through the roof around that May 3rd date. As for Alan Wake and Dead Rising 2, these are two top titles that MMOMFG will definitely be waiting for with baited breath.
