Xbox 360 Getting Final Fantasy XIII “Special Edition”?

Via Kotaku this morning we get a hint that a “Special Edition” Xbox 360 bundled with Final Fantasy XIII might be coming our way. It seems a little late for this since we haven’t heard an announcements and the game is now less than a month away **happy dance** but I suppose better late than never!

The FFXIII Special Edition will be packed with what looks like a standard white console, 2 controllers, the game (dur) and a respectable 250 GB hard drive, similar to the one that shipped supporting Modern Warfare 2 when it was released.

Kotaku reports the price at a reasonable (in my opinion, but I spend money like it’s no ones business) $399. Final Fantasy has always been a system seller and it looks like Microsoft is counting on FFXIII pushing some units out the door. Even if the console doesn’t have a fancy decal on it like the PS3 “limited” edition bundle.
