Star Craft II finally launches closed beta

A nerdgasm was felt around the world today as the most anticipated RTS game this side of the Milky Way Galaxy is finally going into closed beta. It was announced today by Blizzard president Mike Morhaime during a company call to investors. The Star Craft II closed beta will launch this month (that’s February for those not aware).

It seems like eons but by my calculations if the closed beta starts sometime in February we can plan accordingly. If things go well for three to four months; open beta (or my invitations to the closed beta) will begin in the summer and then a full release by the fall (my money is in October). Obviously my mathematical equation to deduce such logic is pure speculation and holds absolutely no weight. Though if you’re bored you might want to do the same, get out some tarot cards, maybe a Ouija board, or sacrifice a lamb.
