New Ghost Recon announced, blowing more stuff up imminent

Ubisoft announced a new Ghost Recon title bound for shelves late this year. Being developed by Ubisoft Paris (the same team that developed GRAW 1 and 2) will be heading the new title. Officially named Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, expect many sad faces no longer able to use the GRAW acronyme.

Being a fan of GRAW 1 and 2 (I thought 1 really showed the power of next-gen consoles) I’m interested to see how Ubisoft can rejuvenate the series. Nothing has come out of the GRAW series since 2007 so expect some major improvements. With a name like Future Soldier Ubisoft is promising fresh gameplay and a multiplayer demo sometime this summer to owners of Splinter Cell Conviction. Not that many people needed a reason to go out and buy S.C., this just makes the decision a lot easier.

No other details have been released but expect much more in the upcoming months.
