Blizzard to upgrade weapons found on Lich King’s loot table
Ancilorn, community blue poster over at the World of Warcraft forums, just stated certain weapons on the Lich King’s loot table for was not up to Blizzard’s (or the Lich King’s) expectations. Some of the weapons dropped by the Lich King, following last Tuesday’s patch opening the final wings of Icecrown Citadel, were not up to standards in terms of their granted stats and the GMs felt the need to change a number of items, as stated by Ancilorn below.
According to Ancilorn: After reviewing several items available from the Lich King encounter, we’ve decided to re-optimise certain weapons that didn’t meet with our expectations and the quality that the Lich King expects. The weapons listed below, both their Normal and Heroic versions, will now better represent their respective roles and present more intriguing options to players.
After an uproar from the community regarding the itemization found on the current final boss available in World of Warcraft, certain items fell under extreme scrutiny prompting Blizzard’s response. Below are the weapons in question getting their fancy new stats. I haven’t been able to take down the Lich King yet, just recently joining a guild capable of downing him, but has your guild been successful yet? Let us know.
