ModNation Racers to rev its engines on both PS3 and PSP

ModNation 4

Today on Sony’s PlayStation Blog, Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein let the cat out of the bag that ModNation Racers will also be appearing on the PSP. Initially announced at Gamespot, United Front Games wants to bring the “Play, Create, Share” method to the PlayStation Portable to reach a broader audience of Sony users. The PSP title is expected to share a majority, if not all, of the same features from the PS3 version and offer up single and multiplayer modes, creation modes, sharing abilities and plenty more.

The PSP was being demoed by United Front Games in San Diego this week, flexing the pint-sized portable’s muscles. You’re probably asking if this means a delay for the PS3 version and there is no answer to that at the moment. However, both the PS3 and PSP versions of ModNation Racers will share the same release date, which is still set as TBA. If you can’t wait to see the final product, go check out our PS3 beta impressions from last month.
