Darksiders Amazing

Four weeks after its release, THQ has already shipped a total of 1.2 million copies of Darksiders. The company considers this a nice success and is already moving forward with a sequel aimed for the 2012 fiscal year. News comes from CEO Brian Farrell during THQ’s fiscal results call, where he mentioned THQ is working on three major titles, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine, a sequel to Darksiders, and a third installment of the popular Saints Row franchise. THQ’s fiscal year begins in April of 2011 so we may see it as soon as next year.

In the meantime, what are you opinions on a Darksiders’ sequel? Are you more excited about Dante’s Inferno than a second Darksiders’ title? Let us know, as we found Darksiders a treat, as stated in our review.

    Me too. The first one was surprisingly well done. People rip it for having gameplay similar to other titles but with its unique art style and above average story. And if any of you have played Darksiders and you know the ending you cant wait til the second one because it has alot of promise.
