Splinter Cell Conviction Release Dated, stop me if you’ve heard this one

It’s been a staple joke for the last year or two. The number of delays and rescheduled release dates was getting down right frustrating for gamers that they became numb at the mere mention of a time slot.

Now, a picture on Ubisoft’s twitpic page seems to laugh in the face of any danger and sets Conviction’s release date to April 13th, 2010.

Etched in stone, this release date should be the final change. Europe gets the game a few days later on April 15th and the UK gets it April 16th.

So maybe now we can celebrate…just a little?
