What to look forward to in WoW Patch 3.3.2
*UPDATE: Patch 3.3.2 also features the beginning of Season 8 in arena pvp and Toravon, the latest boss featured in the Vault of Archavon, dropping your Tier 10 gloves and legs!
My fellow World of Warcrafters, today plays host to patch 3.3.2. If you’re wondering what is in store while waiting for the servers to come up, then we’ve got the news for you. With the patch going live today, the Frostwing Hall and Frozen Throne of Icecrown Citadel opening means the Lich King is actually capable of being killed. This patch will be one of the significant patches in terms of lore prior to the expansion, Cataclysm, which is slated for release later in the year. Arthas has long plagued the world of Azeroth with his boyish good looks destructive ways for far too long and it is time for guilds like Vodka, Malicious Intent and Two Maidens, One Chalice to put him in his final resting place.
The patch also has added updates for the Druid Tier 10 4-piece boomkin set bonuses, 4-piece bonus for Shaman’s Tier 10 set, the Warlock’s 4-piece bonus and Tier 10 tanking sets will gain additional armor. Talents have been updated for Druids, Shamans, Warlocks and Warriors, as well. In addition, if you hadn’t thought heroics were easy enough, Blizzard has basically eliminated the horse-shlop parts of certain instances, like requiring less harpoons in UP, less chaotic rifts in The Nexus and reduced the downtime in Violet Hold between bosses. Thanks Blizzard, now it is even easier to get my alt-spec gear for my Boomkin!
To read all the details, check out the patch notes here. Fellow editor, Brandon, also stated the new patch means his dream-German girlfriend over at Tankspot will release new strategy videos explaining the recently released encounters. Oh, her body voice is nice.
