Assassin’s Creed II DLC creeps onto consoles next week

As we mentioned a few months back, Ubisoft is finally getting around to releasing the first round of downloadable content next week. The official date for the Battle of Forli add-on, which had initially been planned to be part of the original game, will be next Thursday, January 28, available on both the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network. Ubisoft confirmed this date through their Twitter account earlier today.

The DLC price will be a reasonable 320 Microsoft Points and $3.99 on the pSN, which were both also confirmed. The second set of DLC entitled Bonfire of the Vanities will land on both networks at some point in February. Time to load up the ole’ AC2 disk for another go around!
