Plenty to gawk at for Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
Plenty of screens hit our inbox earlier today. Screens of the upcoming MGS PSP (OMG Acronyms) game, Peace Walker.
And hey, we even have some more information for those that fancy lines of text to go with their screenshots.
With regards to multiplayer, Kojima Productions has confirmed the game will boast four player cooperative missions and 3 v 3 battles via Ad Hoc mode. Both sound like a blast but Ad-Hoc mode? Really Konami? Can’t we simply get a simple online access mode. Though it is possible that the Adhoc Party Mode (using your PS3 for internet connection) could play a big part in this for those that can’t seem to find 5 other people to play with in the same room.
Some other news that might be interesting; more big boss fights (as in huge bosses, not Snake “Big Boss”), and the ability to recruit fallen soldiers onto your side. If you haven’t played the demo, this is pretty funny as any knocked out soldier and be whisked away via the Fulton Recovery System (see below). Players can than use that soldier to help Snake later on with new weapons, expanding your base (also see below), and other interesting things I’m sure.
Peace Walker hits shelves May 25th.
