Japanese Uncharted 2 DLC may land in The States soon
**UPDATE: This news is currently in question and has not been confirmed by Naughty Dog. Fingers crossed this is real news, but we wanted to clear it up before any QQing begins. We’ll update again if ND drops the official word
Japan’s PlayStation Store has a handful of Uncharted 2 downloadable content to hit on January 28. Unfortunately, this DLC is slated for specifically Japan’s Store, but hopefully we can expect to see this content in North America shortly. The announced DLC pack is one of a number of DLC packs slated for release for the immensely popular Uncharted 2.
The first free DLC pack will contain an odd number of characters from other titles, including InFamous’ Cole (good and evil models) and Zeke, Killzone 2′s Tomas Sevchenko and the Helghast soldier, and Resistance 2′s Nathan Hale and a Chimera. The second DLC, slated for February 25, will add two maps, including one based on Uncharted’s The Ruins, and multiplayer models from Uncharted’s Atoq, Navarro, Elena, Eddy Raja, Nate, Roman Gabriel and a mercenary character model. The second DLC will not be free, but no price has been set as of yet. The third DLC pack will feature a new multiplayer co-op mode, five new character skins and four additional maps, which will be released on April 15.
We can’t wait to get this DLC Stateside, so fingers crossed this comes out only a matter of weeks later and not require us to wait as long as we have for the Resident Evil 5 DLC. Japan, enjoy your content, you lucky SOBs.
