Gran Turismo 5 release date stalls, delayed

In a bit of a shock, the release date for Sony’s Gran Turismo 5 has been pushed back. To when? We don’t know, and from the looks of it, neither does Sony. The company announced that they were delaying the Japanese release date (was due to come out in March) to an undisclosed date TBA at a later time. No reasons were given but I’m thinking they might be looking to tweak a few extra things and pick a day on the calendar that isn’t as bloated with top quality games (God of War III anyone?).

When an official date is announced we’ll report back with the information.

The first line of this post says "in a bit of a shock" who are you kidding this game is been so long in the making and many times estimated release dates put back are you really surprised that is has happend again? Im not talk is they want to wait till the new financial year so that when GT5 is released sony hope it will boost console sales adding to their 2010/2011 financial figures. If this is true it is annoying to say the least I have a PS3 as do most people who have been patiently waiting for this game im not going to go and buy another ps3 when GT5 comes out I want the game now (if it is ready that is)

I don't own a ps3 for this exact reason, I'll stick with my ps2 and gt4……….
