Legend of Zelda coming in 2010

And now for some good news for your morning drive:

It is entirely within the realm of possibilities that we won’t have to wait until 2011 to get our hands on the next Legend of Zelda title. Reported by Kotaku which found the information via an interview by Japanese newspaper the Asahi Shimbun, Satoru Iwata (President and M.I.C at Nintendo) discussed some of the going-ons at Nintendo for 2010. Topics such as Wii sales, the vitality sensor, partnerships with McDonalds came about, but the most important information is that Zelda would be released by the end of the year. The only caveat is that it wasn’t detailed whether this is a Japanese release, western release, or worldwide release. Considering it’s been in development for two years now, it’s entirely possible a worldwide release could be in the works, though Nintendo hasn’t been one to do such a thing.

If anything, it adds to the list of already great titles (Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid Other M), that are being released by the big N this year.
