Borderlands DLC now live on XBox 360, shoots up PS3 next week

The second DLC pack for Gearbox Software’s role-playing FPS Borderlands is now available for download on XBox Live.  Hitting the service just yesterday, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, will also go live on the PS3 Network next week, Thursday January 7th to be exact.

As we’ve reported, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot bring to Borderlands a crap-ton of Mad Max jokes and references.  In all seriousness though, this pack adds three new Riot Mode arenas, bringing with them more guns, XP, and rewards. Perhaps the biggest addition, however, is a bank systems that lets players store guns and equipment without lugging it around anywhere and using up precious inventory space

It will cost you 800 Microsoft points to download Mad Moxxi, and $10 once it hits the PS3.  If you’ve already popped your copy of Borderlands back into ol’ XBox let us know what you think!
