You might have thought it was officially Bad Company 2 Day here at MMOMFG.

First our preview and now news of the “possible” date of the PC demo.

According to Gamestop,and more precisely the page showing off the Limited Edition version of Bad Company 2, one of the bonuses of preordering will be access to the multiplayer beta. As it says right on the page:

Reserve Battlefield Bad Company 2 and receive access to the PC multiplayer beta. Beta begins January 28th, 2010 and ends February 25, 2010. Available for online customers only while supplies last. Not available for in-store or in-store pickup orders.

Online Customers: A beta activation code and download instructions will be emailed beginning January 26th, 2010.

Obviously this isn’t official but I don’t think Gamestop would promise access to a beta if they didn’t get the go ahead from EA. Those looking for reasons to preorder the PC version just got a nice big one.
