Toys R Us: Where gamers spend their Christmas cash

It seems that as I get older, more and more family members are giving up on actually picking out a gift for me and have resorted to simply gifting me cash for Christmas. I’m not complaining, not by a long shot.  It lets me decide what that person got me for Christmas, and that choice is almost always better than the one they would have made if they’d gone through with it.

I’m betting this is a trend that doesn’t end with my family alone.  I’m betting plenty of you out there are in the same boat.  And you may be wondering just where to spend that cash.  Don’t be rash and run down to GameStop or Best Buy just yet, there are deals to be had, people!  One such is at Toys R Us.

The toy giant is offering a Buy One Get One Half Off deal on all Wii, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Playstation 2 games.  Nintendo DSI games and all gaming accessories listed at 20$ or less are part of the deal too.  This sale runs through Saturday, January 2nd and applies to many other items in the store.  But let’s be honest, we only care about the games.

So get down to your local Toys R Us and spend that cash, gamers.  Grab a young niece or nephew to tow along, if it makes you more comfortable – that’s my plan.
