Xbox 360 to Get Realistic Character Avatars?
Apparently, in a recent patent addition to the US Patent and Trademark Office, Xbox 360 users might be getting a “realistic” update to their avatar systems. This new system is reported to be implementing a physiological sensor to track health conditions of the gamer and reflect their conditions back onto their avatar. Could this be some tie-in to Natal, or a wonderful finger-clippie device to keep you from requiring headshots?
Granted there is a lot of technical jargon in most patent filings, this one seems to read that the current avatar system is unrepresentative of the user behind it, (which I for one appreciate, I’m what some might say… “Too easy on the eyes.”)
Will you be looking forward to have your avatar buff up or buffet up? Give us your thoughts, (they’re delicious) in the handy comment section below!
