PlayStation Home hits 10 million; new game spaces added

Is 10 million too much? Sony says “NAY!” The social meeting app, PlayStation Home, has just hit a milestone of 10 million Home-bodies, according to Sony.

Along with the impressive Home numbers, comes an addition of two new game spaces, Uncharted 2 and Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time. There are talks of a Motorstorm game space following soon, as well.

Not so surprisingly this announcement has come shortly after Sony posted their NPD sales numbers that showed they were nearly matched with Microsoft’s Xbox 360 in units sold for the month of November. Combining that announcement with the vital sales for Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2, this is definitely a great boon to the Playstation 3’s social networking capabilities.
