We’ve profiled some expensive gifts so far:  a two thousand dollar HDTV, a few sixty dollar titles, some expensive peripherals.  It’s not that gamers are materialistic, it’s just an unfortunate reality that the nicer things of the hobby can be a bit expensive.  Thankfully, there are plenty of gaming gifts that won’t break the bank. One such item is the stylish and practical Power & Play Charging System from Energizer.  Listed on Amazon as low as $22.49, these Xbox 360 and PS3 controller charging stands are pretty legit.  More than one of us is considering picking this up as a little gift for ourselves.  I’ve often wished I had a way to stash controllers conveniently, and this could be just what my cluttered stand needs.
