Twelve Days of Gamesmas – Second Day

gamesmas

Tis the season to be jolly! And with good tidings, we bring the MMOMFG holiday gift suggestions with our new feature, “Twelve Days of Gamesmas”. Each day from now until December 23, we’ll highlight the perfect gifts for gamers, whether it be for yourself, a friend, or for a loved one. We know how hard it can be to make a wish list with so many great gaming options out there, so we’re here to help you separate the gems from the coal. Over the next twelve days, we’ll focus on the best games, peripherals, systems, and tools to help keep you gaming well into the new year and beyond. Let’s get on to the gifts!

On the first day of Gamesmas my true love game to me, an Xbox Elite with green rings.
On the second day of Gamesmas my true love gave to me, a Samsung UN46B7000 LED TV (what a mouthful!):

Samsung46LED

Coming in at a price tag of around $2,000, this Samsung LED TV isn’t exactly cheap (we have expensive taste here at MMOMFG), but you definitely get what you pay for. With a screen size of 46″, with a width of less than 1.5″, the UN46B7000 is one of the skinniest suckers on the market. A contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1 and 120HZ refresh rate means even the fastest games won’t be a problem.  For the environmentally conscious, this TV produces 40% less energy and contains no mercury so you can pull all night gaming sessions without fear of killing any wilderness animals. Though it does have 4 HDMI cables it only features 1 component cable which could be a problem for those who have an older Xbox 360 and Wii that needs to be hooked up. Besides that, this TV could serve as the gateway to plenty of gaming hours over the holidays if you can find someone rich (and who loves your worthless behind) enough!

For more information, check out the official Samsung site where you can ogle all you want. For those who want more than just our word, check out the CNET Review, or for “peasant” reviews check out Amazon.
