So it might not have been Battlefront 3 or another X-Wing vs. Tiefighter game like 99% of the population wanted, but the trailer to the sequel of The Force Unleashed was filled with plenty of awesome.

It seems our favorite conflicted Jedi/Sith Starkiller is still a little confused as to what to do with his ungodly force powers. The trailer features both Yoda and Darth Vader pulling the strings of good and evil as Starkiller walks down a path. He enters an arena where some big (and I do mean big) guerrilla-like monster tosses a Rancor like a ragdoll. Starkiller approaches shooting lightning out of all orifices and then brandishing two blue lightsabers. Hopefully that means duel wielding is an included feature and not just trailer fluff. Also the significance of the color shouldn’t be ignored as maybe this time your path is more or less chosen for you.

One final wish would be to put in some sort of multiplayer. I thoroughly enjoyed TFU but it didn’t stay in my PS3 very long as their was no reason to come back (way before any DLC was announced). Maybe some type of “hunt the Jedi” mode or the old nostalgic Jedi Knight force battles might be fun. It looks like TFU II is coming in 2010 so we won’t have to wait too long for more information.
