WoW Patch 3.3 offers plenty of server issues

After countless hours today of waiting around to play World of Warcraft while players faced login issues, upon getting in the servers, numerous instances were locking players out and also freezing during encounters. I experienced these situations during a 5-man run of the Halls of Reflection where we were kiting the Lich King, but froze and could not do anything, nor even log off. I’m willing to give a little leeway to Blizzard considering the amount of content in the patch, but you’d expect the instance servers for the new dungeons and raids to have been in tip-top shape for launch.

It rarely is surprising when patch day comes and issues plague us gamers, but we’d like to feel confident we can play the day of release when we’ve patiently waited months to try out the new content. With all of this being said, I’d like to congratulate Blizzard on the random group finder. It is such an awesome way to always be confident you can have something to do in the game. Also, as a note, the ability to quickly find the last part of your group through the system was extremely convenient. We needed a tank fast for the new 5-mans and found a great one from Hyjal named something like Leonaros (or close to that).

Despite the server issues, add-on difficulties and lag, WoW players have much to rejoice over and can be happy to know patch 3.3 is finally here! Did you face any issues today when playing? Let us know what you think of the new content!
