THQ’s UFC Undisputed 2010 to KO your A next year

For those of you out there that are fight fans, THQ has confirmed that a sequel to the immensely popular UFC Undisputed is slated for 2010. The next iteration of the Ultimate Fighting Championship title, UFC Undisputed 2010, will offer its first footage of gameplay at the 2009 Spike TV Video Game Awards on December 12. The Spike TV VGAs are slated to offer footage with commentary from top UFC fighters, including the introduction from a special guest host, says the developer and publisher.

THQ announced UFC Undisputed 2009 as a highly rated and successful title in a recent financial press release. THQ’s CEO Brian Farrell was quoted in the release stating, “THQ is now operating as a more focused, more efficient company. We continue to deliver highly rated hit titles such as UFC 2009 Undisputed and WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010.”

We’re looking forward to the sequel in 2010, as fellow editor Justin and I spent numerous hours online in KO battles between Thiago Alves and Georges St. Pierre. Needless to say, Alves won quite often as Justin delivered fatal strikes to GSP’s French head. All in all, we’re excited for the news, as there had been an extremely long gap between the mediocre UFC titles from years past and the finally tuned Undisputed. Keep up the good work THQ.
