Isaak dresses up – Dead Space 2 costume on cover of Game Informer

Game Informer has revealed the cover of their January issue, graced by everyone’s favorite necromorph-dismembering deep space engineer, Isaak Clarke. January’s issue of the print mag is set to feature an in depth 10-page spread on Dead Space 2 but for now let’s just feast our eyes on what the title’s protagonist has thrown together for the sequel soiree.

Check out the images below for the front cover as well as the spread of both front and back covers. What do we see? Well there’s the usual: Isaak about to chop an abomination into necro-bits with his trusty Plasma Cutter.  What’s new is Isaak’s suit, which looks a bit flashier than the original. The guys at Kotaku think they see a jetpack type apparatus on Isaak’s knee, but my gut is grumbling that it’s just the gold background light shining through a gap in his armor.
