Alan Wake and Twitter sitting in a tree T-W-E-E-T-I-N-G

We noticed an odd Tweet earlier today from Remedy Entertainment’s Twitter account (@remedyalerts) notifying us of an exclusive screenshot. Well, as you’ll notice above, it highlights the game’s protagonist making his way through a construction site guided by flashlight. Needless to say, the game looks beautiful, but I have to say that I’m not very excited about the whole Twitter advertisement in the right corner.
First off, we found the image through Twitter, so it’s not like we need to be informed on how to find this particular image. Regardless, we can’t wait for this game to come out, as we covered it in depth during our Spotlighting the New IPs of 2010 – Alan Wake. Are you excited about Alan Wake? Are you also aware that the game is said to be influenced by Twin Peaks? This alone makes us extremely excited, since the setting of the story line looks to feature plenty of twists in turns in the small northwestern town of Bright Falls, oddly similar to Twin Peaks… Let us know your thoughts and if this screenshot assisted in you following them on Twitter.
