Red Dead Redemption slated for April 2010 release

As we all anxiously await the Red Dead Redemption trailer slated for release later today, buzz is making its way around the web via a leaked video containing the scheduled release date. The sequel to Red Dead Revolver, Rockstar San Diego’s open-world cowboy sandbox title Red Dead Redemption will feature cowboy hootin’ and hollerin’ utilizing the Grand Theft Auto IV’s RAGE engine. The leaked trailer shows the release date of the PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360 cowboy game as April 27, 2010.

Despite best efforts, we haven’t been able to procure an early copy of the trailer due to Rockstar’s continued efforts in removing the leaked video. However, continue to check back later today for an update to this post that will feature said trailer in all its glory. As big fans of the first title, we’re extremely anxious to feast our eyes on the upcoming trailer, and then eventually get a demo hopefully sometime in early 2010.
