Dante’s Inferno demo dated for XBOX 360 and PS3

Fresh from Dante Inferno’s Twitter, the demo has been officially dated for PS3 and XBOX 360. Spending countless hours dreaming (or posting articles) of entering each circle of Hell, gamers can make it a reality on December 10 for the PlayStation 3 and December 24 for the XBOX 360. Kotaku leaked the details regarding Dante’s Inferno demo dates earlier today, which is causing 360 users to complain and PS3ers to hoot and holler in victory.
With the demo announced last month, gamers can experience the entire opening level of Dante’s Inferno featuring his journey to the gates of Hell on a mission to rescue his murdered love, Beatrice.
According to executive producer, Jonathan Knight: “The world of Alighieri’s Dante’s Inferno is such a rich, detailed, and often alarming universe, that all of us at Visceral Games put our hearts, and dare I say souls, into creating something truly intense and exciting. We hope gamers enjoy this tease of hell, and come away from the experience lusting for more when the game comes out on February 9.”
Owning both systems, I can only say that I’m excited to try to demo on December 10, but I have sympathy for those who have to wait for the XBOX 360 demo. If you’re in Austin, you can swing by my place and test the demo with me (you bring the beer).
