Rebellion Developments, creator of upcoming FPS Alien vs. Predator, have released a video with details on the game’s multiplayer element.  Fans of the Alien and Predator franchises, get ready for multiplayer game modes like Deathmatch, Species Deathmatch, Mixed Species Team Play, Survival, and Predator Hunt.

Check out the video clip below – an advert Rebellion put together going over AvP’s multiplayer modes.  It shows some gameplay and includes bits of an interview with Rebellion Development’s Senior Producer Dave Brickley.  You’ll also find interviews with several UK-based gaming journalists…in this ad…from the studio.

Apparently Rebellion put on an event, a Multiplayer Gamers Day, inviting journos from around their tiny island.  One of these lucky few, Martin Gaston from play.tm, gives us this gem: “Today has been mostly about sneaking up on people and biting them through the head.”  Glowing recommendations from accented journalists FTW!

Alien vs. Predator is being developed by Rebellion Developments and will be published by Sega, it is loosely slated for a Q1 2010 release.

Can't wait, I've owned both of the AVP games what came out for PC, and I loved them. There's nothing like running on the ceilings and walls like the Alien. Ah, good times.

Looks like a pretty good game. Can't say I'd ever want to be a marine though. The predator looks too bad ass.

Heavens no, the marine was way to scary to play as, you were at a distinct disadvantage in the other two games, I hope it's not like that in this game.
