A plethora of screenshots for all you Crackdown fans hit the web today.

As you can see, the cell shaded style gives you a GTA meets Borderlands feeling which doesn’t bother me at all. Definitely a different approach since the first title even though they both share that superhero mentality; Crackdown 2 is looking to  be a darker, grittier, meaner sequel as evidence of some of the blood smears and grotesque mutants you’ll be facing off against. Still, expect some rooftop jumping and insane abilities.

As one of the few games you get to throw cars across a map, Crackdown had some pure “lol” moments. Though the sequel has changed developers (though members from the original team Realtime Worlds, formed to make Ruffian Games), we can only hope it holds the same appeal as the first.
