Dragon Age DLC brings you back to Ostagar

BioWare has unveiled plans today to release a DLC package for the recently launched and uber-popular RPG Dragon Age: Origins. Hitting all three platforms sometime this holiday season, Dragon Age’s first piece of post-launch DLC is called Return to Ostagar, a site of both battle and betrayal early on in the game.
By returning to the scene of the battle that took the lives of Ferelden’s King and most of the land’s Grey Warden’s, the player is given a chance to learn more of exactly what happened when things went haywire. Apparently you also get to loot the King’s corpse. Woot! – that golden armor is mine!
The best part about this DLC? Undoubtedly the price. Return of Ostagar will hit PCs, XBOX 360s, and PlayStation 3s this holiday season for around 5 bucks.
We should expect more DLC to come for Dragon Age: Origins soon, as well. At least we should if the marketspeak penned by BioWare’s PR department… I mean if this quote spoken by BioWare’s co-founder Ray Muzyka…is anything to go by:
“We are very proud of the phenomenal launch of Dragon Age: Origins and we’re pleased to announce the next installment of downloadable content that will be available to fans of the game,” said Ray Muzyka, Group General Manager, RPG/MMO Group of EA, and Co-Founder, BioWare. “The Return to Ostagar DLC pack is a prime example of BioWare’s commitment to give fans a game that continuously offers new experiences and further enriches a storyline that has already received critical acclaim and positive feedback from the players.”
