Super Street Fighter IV Welcome Dee Jay and T-Hawk

Some new Super Street Fighter IV screens hit the net today showing off our friendly neighborhood kickboxer Dee (don’t call me Tanner) Jay and our Native American dive bomber T-Hawk.

Also released today was some more information regarding what makes Super Street Fighter IV so “Super”.
Along with the new fighters, SSFIV will feature some news modes such as team battle (2 v2, 3 v 3, and 4 v 4), endless battle (winner keeps playing as losers cycle around), a replay channel, and tournament mode. My most exciting addition, the bonus stages! Who doesn’t love breaking a car to pieces a la Street Fighter II.

Apparently gameplay has been balanced even more, so that should make those who haven’t gotten enough Street Fighter as of yet even happier.

I like Street Fighter as much as the next guy but I’m not so sure about this new version. Why not release the characters as DLC? It looks like some of these modes were already in progress when SSFIV was released earlier this year and that just doesn’t sit well with me.
