XBOX Live is about to get Twittered in the Facebook

Just when you though you couldn’t possibly social network any more, XBOX Live pulls you right back in. Next Tuesday, the social media update for XBOX Live is finally coming. Much to the chagrine of some old schoolers who still be-bop on their Myspace accounts and play Golgo 13 on Nintendo, XBOX Live is finally going to deliver the goods with the dashboard update of Facebook, Last.fm and Twitter.
The versions of each will not just be direct ports of the PC versions, but when speaking to Fast Company, XBOX Live general manager Mark Whitten explained they will offer entirely new entertainment experiences. If that means I can poke my friends while listening to Hansen and Tweeting that I just unlocked an achievement, then sign me up.
Check out the entire interview over at Fast Company, otherwise, we’ll look forward to seeing your converted Facebook to Gamertags shortly. This is also a great chance to utilize these new services with the new Wireless N router that became available this week.
