Warhammer Online announces the never ending free trial

Fresh from the horse’s mouth, EA’s Twitter account, we get word that the free trial period for Warhammer Online has gone from 10 days to an infinite number of days. This is an exponentially longer free trial than previously offered. I’ll be the first to say that Warhammer is missing some elements that kept me from renewing my subscription, but they offer a ton of ideas in an MMO that can potentially go a long way.
EA’s Official Twitter Feed: @EA: Warhammer Online removes time-limit from trial, play for as long as you’d like: http://www.warhammeronline.com/trial/

Subscription numbers have fluctuated, but with the ability to test any character out and get a good amount of free trial play should help if gamers find the trial to be what they’re looking for in an MMO. I’ll be reinstalling and testing out the free trial knowing I don’t have to pack all my testing time in a 10 day period, especially considering the sheer amount of great games out right now, ie: Uncharted 2, Brutal Legend, Tekken 6, Dragon Age: Origins, and on and on and on.
Go give the EA/Mythic trial a run through and see if Warhammer Online is your flavor of MMO. Worst case scenary is that it costs you 8 gigs on your harddrive.
