Left 4 Dead 2 Demo Delayed until today

We were ready, party hats and drinks in hand, our game had preloaded and we even got up yesterday just a little bit earlier like it was Christmas morning. But alas, our hearts fell heavy and a big sigh was felt around the PC community when the Left 4 Dead 2 demo refused to load and subsequently pre-load over and over again as if intentionally teasing us.

It seems, for unanswered reasons, that the PC demo has been delayed to (hopefully) today.  Not the end of the world by far but you wouldn’t know it by reading this and this. So far by the looks of things the demo should be ready to go around 4pm PST or 7pm EST. Which is perfect timing for all the east coast dwellers to get home from work and log in.

Meanwhile in Xbox land people are laughing everywhere, champagne is flowing, and life is good as they’ve had access to the demo since yesterday.  We’ll be updating this post accordingly if things should change, in the meantime offer some alms to the poor, say a pray, sacrifice a lamb, and do whatever you do to keep the gods happy.
