Borderlands DLC wants to eat your brains

Not satisfied with simply releasing their title next week, Gearbox Software has scheduled a little DLC TLC for the FPS/RPG.  The DLC features none other than the fan favorite, ZOMBIES!  Entitled “The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned”  expect plenty of brain eating and corpse rotting.

Tasked with keeping the workers of Jakobs Cove alive, Dr. Ned (who is not related to Dr. Zed from Fyrestone) does his job a little too well, creating zombies and other abominations that now run rampant in this region. Players will have to work alongside Dr. Ned as they embark on a quest to cure the inhabitants of Jakobs Cove in this full-fledged expansion filled with new enemies, new quests and rare loot drops.

No word on the release date as of yet but pricing for the DLC will be $9.99 for all systems.

Borderlands is set for release in the US October 20th for 360 and PS3 and October 26th for Windows.
