XBOX Live Twitter and Facebook update preview needs volunteers

Yesterday, Major Nelson dropped a social media bomb on the XBOX community informing them that they are available to test the new XBOX LIVE Update Preview program. The only catch is that there is a little number of participants in this preview, so head on over to the Microsoft Connect site and sign in with your Windows Live ID that is connected to your XBOX LIVE Gamertag.

Upon logging in, fill out the obligatory sign up sheet entitled “XBOX LIVE Update Preview Sign Up” questionnaire to be one of the many thousands under scrutiny from Microsoft to pick the good from the bad when determining who will be selected. Just so that you are aware, they will be selecting multiple thousands of participants, open to all XBOX LIVE members in regions where XBOX LIVE is available. The kicker here is that XBOX LIVE Gold members will have priority over Silver members in the selection process.

If you want some advice on how to get selected, change your username to “XBOXISBEST”, “MajorNelsonForPresident” or “SteveJobsSucksFatOnes”. If you don’t want to spend the money doing this, at least thoroughly answer the questionnaire like a real human being and don’t use any broken grammar or 1337-speak. If you have been selected, you will be notified within a week, so please be sure your contact information is up to date if you plan to be Tweeting or Facebook stalking on your XBOX anytime soon.
