Straight from the mouth’s Twitter feed of Sony Playstation,  comes the announcement that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves demo hits PSNetwork Tuesday, September 29 at 11 a.m. Pacific Time. Below is the direct Tweet with the sexy update from @SonyPlayStation:

“For those wondering, the Uncharted 2 demo will go live tomorrow at 11am Pacific. The PS Blog will have more details at that time.”

We will post whatever updates this consists of, but until then, set you alarms to remind you to download this demo and look for us on PSNetwork tomorrow night. Post your PSN usernames and we’ll invite you to a game of Uncharted 2 multiplayer during the week, or you can challenge us. This game is one of the most highly anticipated PS3 games yet and is set for official release October 13.

Being only a mere part-time PS3 player, this is one title that I am highly anticipating. What are your thoughts on the game, being highly touted as the top PS3 game of the year?

*Update: The multiplayer demo is live for all PS3 players now. The demo became available for download at 11 a.m. Pacific today. Check out the blog post by Naughty Dog regarding all the features:

“All of us at Naughty Dog are thrilled to announce that the Multiplayer Demo for UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves will be available for everyone to download on the PlayStation Store today at 11:00 AM.

…In short, the Multiplayer Demo includes four maps, four competitive modes and two co-op modes. That’s two new maps, two new competitive modes and one more co-op mode than our June Multiplayer Beta.

However, throwing in Cinema, the Machinima mode and the special Stage map was one of the things were most looking forward to putting in your hands. UNCHARTED 2 automatically records the gameplay data for your competitive multiplayer matches in any map and gametype. You can then head into Cinema to watch your recorded matches and that’s where the good stuff is – from watching your own replays, taking your own screenshots, making your own videos or even using the Machinima game mode and Stage map to create your own videos.”
