Left 4 Dead DLC Crashes Onto Your XBOX Next Week

l4dcrashcourseposter

Left 4 Dead is one of our favorite games of last year.  How could it not be?  No title has packed as much straight-up zombie horde slaughtering action on to a disc than Valve did with L4D.

So it is with much anticipation that we post this: Valve will be releasing a new campaign for Left 4 Dead next week.  The campaign, called Crash Course, will serve to bridge the gap between L4D’s No Mercy and Death Toll campaigns. While free to download the PC version, the XBOX version will cost you 560 Microsoft Points.  That’s about 7 bucks.

Sad that this isn’t free DLC?  Don’t be, this is a serious piece of additional content.  We’re not talking about a new skin or a new map for a challenge mode that’s stinks anyways (looking at you, Batman: Arkham Asylum), we’re talking about an entirely new campaign made up of 5 new boards.  That’s like a 25% addition to Left 4 Dead’s core gameplay content!  We’ll gladly pay 7 bucks for that.

Crash Course will hit XBOX Live next Tuesday, September 29th.  Stay tuned to MMOMFG.com next week for our impressions/review of the new campaign.

All L4D DLC is well worth the money. This is one I am already salivating at the mouth for.

Add me on XBL so we can fuck shit up on L4D — RBR Shaman

Glad I play it on the PC, though that would be $7 well spent regardless.

We can't wait to get it either. Anyone going to see Zombieland? Woody Harrelson is in Austin this weekend for Fantastic Fest premiering the movie. Should be a good time!

More of a tongue in cheek approach. I'm actually in favor of Gold Members getting the demo first, but it doesn't hurt to at least sympathize with the poories.
