Dragon Age: Origins’ Universe to expand with second novel

This week, BioWare and Tor Books announced the expansion of the Dragon Age Universe with the release of the second Dragon Age novel entitled Dragon Age: The Calling, a prequel to the highly anticipated game. Dragon Age: Origins has many critics raving over the soon-to-be-released RPG from BioWare, but with a clever marketing move, Tor Books will offer gamers another taste of lore before the official launch.

Typically, novels come out following the success of a gaming franchise, and in my opinion, are never half as good as the game itself, ie. Doom, Halo, World of Warcraft. BioWare and Tor Books are  offering fans chomping at the bit another taste of Dragon Age lore a few weeks in advance of the game’s official release.
