Free Batman: Arkham Asylum DLC coming this week

The Batword out of Eidos today is “free,” as in, “free DLC”. The company will be releasing some downloadable content for Batman: Arkham Asylum this week: a free multiplayer map pack called Insane Night.
Available as of Thursday, September 17th, on XBOX Live, the PSN marketplace, and Games for Windows marketplace, Insane Night adds two new maps to the game’s Challenge Mode.
If you haven’t read our review of Batman: Arkham Asylum, get to it. We referenced the mutiplayer options in B:AA as forgettable – will Insane Night change our tune? We can’t be sure until Thursday, but what we can’t deny is that free DLC is good DLC. We don’t care if you’re releasing a costume change making Batman look like Astro Boy – if it’s free, it plays. Well, an Astro Boy skin would be a little out of place in Arkham, but you get the point.
